The C.A.R.E. program provided a safety net for me as a college student. With studies and athletics being a top priority during my time of enrollment, I was unable to hold a job to provide for myself throughout the school year. The CARE program allowed those from my very own community the opportunity to lend a helping hand in my times of need and that alone made it easier for me.
